One of the primary duties of a CNA is to care for multiple residents in a healthcare facility. They must ensure that each patient's needs are met by providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities. This includes tasks like bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.

• Providing care and assistance to a group of residents under one roof.
• Observe Resident Rights
• Provide attentive care and assistance with basic activities that foster independence.
• Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring that their rights and best interests are upheld throughout the admitting, transferring, or discharging process
• Facilitate the delivery of treatments and assist with medical procedures as directed by the nurse
• Foster a therapeutic and safe environment for patients to promote emotional and psychological well-being during their recovery journey
• Be present at work as planned and maintain a consistent record of being dependable and punctual.

Successful completion of a state-approved nurse aide training program is generally the minimum requirement for becoming a CNA:

• Holding an active and legitimate CNA permit in the state where an individual is employed is essential.
• Capability to comprehend, speak, read, and write the English language proficiently.
• The capability to take independent calls when required by conditions.
• The aptitude to establish and maintain positive relationships with coworkers is important.
