Clinic Medical Assistant (CNA) Essential Functions:
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Address residents' special needs associated with their diagnoses.
- Report any signs of mistreatment or neglect, as well as unexplained injuries.
- Accurately document resident care using our computerized system.
- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with post-mortem care when required.
- Measure and record vital signs as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the unit and conduct regular rounds.
- Ensure residents are prepared for their preferred activities.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to navigate the unit and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of bending, lifting, and transporting equipment and residents.
- Familiarity with computerized medical records.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current and valid CNA license in the state.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Ability to make independent decisions and collaborate effectively with staff.
