Clinic Medical Assistant (CNA) Essential Functions:

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Address residents' special needs associated with their diagnoses.
• Report any signs of mistreatment or neglect, as well as unexplained injuries.
• Accurately document resident care using our computerized system.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with post-mortem care when required.
• Measure and record vital signs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the unit and conduct regular rounds.
• Ensure residents are prepared for their preferred activities.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to navigate the unit and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of bending, lifting, and transporting equipment and residents.
• Familiarity with computerized medical records.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current and valid CNA license in the state.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to make independent decisions and collaborate effectively with staff.
